Realtime Results Reaches the Top
There are an abundance of applications and software for mobile devices available. It is very challenging to make an individual offering stand out from the pack. St. Louis-based Realtime Results realized this after they created an innovative door-to-door mobile marketing software platform. They came to Black Twig with this new software and a goal to be one of the top brands in the market. Realtime was aiming for a quick distribution of the program, while simultaneously showcasing the power it provided to direct marketing campaigns.
The marketing knowledge and public relations savvy of Black Twig’s staff was just what Realtime needed to achieve their goals. Not only did Black Twig handle public relations, they were a full-service marketing company, with the ability to assist with developing marketing strategies and producing creative projects. Black Twig’s commitment to generating results proved to be stronger than other firms Realtime researched. Having successfully launched other technologies to the market, Black Twig quickly determined a path for Realtime.
Realtime first had to set out and partner with a respected company to beta test their software and assess its overall value. A major player in the telecom industry, Suddenlink Cable, stepped in to take the initial software out for a test run. Within six short months Realtime’s software boasted some unprecedented statistics for Suddenlink’s door-to-door sales, such as increasing the number of doors knocked on by 37 percent and decreasing back office call times by 40 percent. With this powerful information, Realtime needed a way to get the story out about what their new software achieved. Black Twig developed a three-step plan that would provide real exposure for Realtime.
The initial step of Black Twig’s plan consisted of launching a major national media campaign to brand Realtime as a key player in the mobile marketing industry. This included traditional public relations tactics, like press releases, case studies and pitching relevant media outlets. After securing several national interviews with influential industry publications such as Independent Cable News, Telephony and 1to1 Magazine, Realtime and Black Twig were ready to move on to the next phase of the software launch.
The second phase centered on the creation and design of collateral materials, including a cutting-edge sales brochure, several e-newsletters with research information for potential buyers and webinars for Realtime’s top targets.
The final phase consisted of creating buzz at a major cable trade show, CTAM. Black Twig worked to these very desirable door-to-door results to the cable industry. Black Twig placed experts on a key trade panel during the show, as well as drove industry prospects into the Realtime booth.
Black Twig was able to help get the Realtime brand out to three primary, and crucial, audiences – national trade publications, primary targets within the industry and a valuable tradeshow market. Since Black Twig brought Realtime to the forefront of mobile door-to-door sales industry, they have partnered with a large, national utility company and have several more deals in the works. Realtime Results is projecting record-breaking growth in 2010.
